Queen Elizabeth: Game viewing, chimpanzees and other forest primates in Kyambura (Chambura) gorge, boat rides in Kazinga channel, The equator which provides a beautiful place for photo shooting, Lake Edward and Lake George, Queen Elizabeth Pavillion, The Mweya Peninsula and view of Ruwenzori mountains.
Breakfast at your hotel, pick up by your driver guide and proceed to Lake Mburo National park.
It is the only park in Uganda to contain an entire lake. A boat ride on the lake will enable you to spot crocodiles, hippos and a wide diversity of birds. This is the only park where you are not entirely imprisoned in a vehicle. Quite Interesting!
Its mosaic habitats of dry hillside, rocky outcrops, bushes, thicket, open wooded savannah, forests lakes and swamps are home to surprising diversity of plants and animals. Its attractive savanna (158 square miles) inhabits huge herds of impala, The rare topi, klipspringer, herds of zebra, Cape buffalo and eland. Birdwatchers will enjoy the more than 250 species of birds found in Lake Mburo including; Brown faced Lapwing, Carruther's Cisticola, the extraordinary White winged Warbler and Bare-Faced-Go- Away bird.You can also catch a glimpse of waterbirds diving for fish, the maribou stork, bee-eaters, as well as the majestic crowned crane.
In the evening, enjoy game drive along the Lakeshore track. With its own system of game trails and cleared walkways the "Kigambara Loop" offers interesting guided lakeside walks.
Here, you shall spot herds of zebra, Cape buffalo and eland. Oribi and topi are easily approached.

Thereafter, proceed for a game drive or a safari walk under the escort of an armed ranger. The walk will be at a slow pace to provide excellent opportunities for the keen photographer. The Kopjes are particularly interesting and camouflage kilpspringers and topis. Due to cattle herding in the area it is amusing to see zebra grazing alongside the long horned Ankore Cattle peaceably.
Drive through the "Switzerland of Africa" area known as the Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads to Bwindi.
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is located in South West of Uganda. It covers an area of about 330km2 of thick vegetation draped over very fissured landscape of the steep ridges and slippery valleys. This is a magnificent green swathe of dense rainforest and is one of the most biologically diverse areas on earth and it has been acknowledged as the World Heritage Site. Its habitat to highly endangered species including Mountain Gorillas, L’Hoest’s monkeys, Chimpanzee, African green broadbill and many others

Breakfast at your hotel and depart with lunch for the tangled and mist-shrouded forests with guides and trackers who are very experienced at locating the gorillas by finding the nest the family had used the previous night. The search for these majestic animals goes through thick untamed rainforest, where you'll be scrambling over mossy rocks and through deep undergrowth and it can be rigorous at times therefore ensure physical fitness. However, when you come face to face with the gorillas, the trek will be more than worth it, and watching gorillas in their natural habitat is a memorable experience. Spend an hour or so with the gorillas then enjoy the rest of the afternoon relaxing.
Return to the hotel for overnight Buhoma Community Bandas / Engagi Lodge / Buhoma Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Pick up from hotel and Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector. In the afternoon, proceed for a unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. The trip passes through possibly the highest hippo concentration in Africa and many mammals may be seen drinking at the water's edge. You may be able to spot the enormous water monitor lizard, as well as some few crocodiles. The cruise offers a spectacular scenery for photography and game viewing. The bird life is astonishing and beautiful.
Overnight Simba Safari Camp / Jacana Safari Lodge / Mweya Safari Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
A morning game drive will offer you the chance to view Queen Elizabeth National Park's which has the highest biodiversity ratings in the world.due to the grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters.The wide bio-diversity of habitats means that the Park contains the most astonishing number of species - almost 100 types of mammals and 606 different birds. During the game drive in the park,you will be able to see the mighty Ruwenzori Mountains as a backdrop and also get a chance to see varous wildlife such as leopards, lions, giant forest hog, African buffalo, elephants, defassa waterbuck, Uganda kob, topi and bushbuck. Combined with the boat cruise up the Kazinga Channel(taken the previous day), the game drive is a memorable way of discovering a vast array of wildlife.
Drive back to Kampala stopping at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers en route where you will able to watch the ceremonial drums being crafted using methods passed down through generations. There will also be time to stop at the equator for photographs.
Arrive in Kampala in the early evening.
