Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha – Ngorongoro 1230hrs:

You will be met by your driver guide in Arusha hotel, tour briefing, the tour starts with lunch in Arusha. 1400hrs, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving in the evening, check in at the lodge. 
Dinner and overnight at the Sopa lodge

Day 2:  Ngorongoro – Arusha

Breakfast at the lodge.Pick up by your driver guide and depart for half day Crater tour, you will descend 2000 feet to the floor of the crater. Explore the forest areas, the lake, and the open savannah for game viewing. Drive back to your lodge for lunch. 

The Ngorongoro Crater is often called 'Africa's Garden of Eden' and is regarded as a natural wonder of the world and has been declared a World Heritage Site. It is the largest intact crater in the world. On the crater floor, grassland blends into swamps, lakes, rivers, woodland and mountains, the flora opens to grassy plains throughout the crater floor. Within the crater rim, you can spot large herds of zebra and wildebeest, lions, spotted hyenas, leopards, cheetahs and three species of jackals. Tanzania's few endangered black rhino are regularly sighted in the crater, as are large herds of buffalo.

After lunch, drive back to Arusha and drop off at your hotel.
